Simulation for the Management of an Autonomous Warehouse

The project proposes the development of a multi-agent system, based on Jason, to simulate and manage an autonomous warehouse. The research focuses on creating a dynamic and realistic environment, where agents represent robots that load and unload goods at predetermined points. The robot agents will have autonomous behaviors and a realistic navigation system, allowing them to move from one point to another within the warehouse, avoiding obstacles. Goods management will involve the implementation of loading and unloading operations and in the delivery of the goods. During the simulation, the battery level of the robots will be considered, and when it reaches a certain threshold, they will need to recharge. Additionally, will be simulate a scenarios where a robot may break down, and another robot intervenes to repair it. The navigation system will consider obstacles and possible congestion situations, ensuring accurate simulation. Warehouse modeling will include loading/unloading zones and the ability to dynamically move goods. A user interface will provide real-time visualization of the simulation, allowing the user to monitor the robot positions and warehouse status.
